Is Deepflow Guttering Right for My Property?

Deep flow guttering has been specifically developed for situations where standard 112 mm guttering profiles are unable to cope. If you have noticed gutters overflowing during heavy rainfall, even when they are clean and clear, it is likely that the standard profile is too small for your roof area. Upgrading to a 120 mm deep flow guttering system increases your property’s water capacity and can resolve persistent overflow and leakage issues.

Deep flow guttering is particularly well suited to:• Large houses with expansive roof areas
• Commercial buildings with wide roof spans
• Extensions and outbuildings where standard guttering is insufficient
• Properties located in areas with high levels of rainfall

The Difference Between Deep Flow and Standard Guttering

The key distinction between deep flow and standard guttering lies in the cross section of the gutter channel. Standard half round guttering typically measures 112 mm across and has a relatively shallow depth. In contrast, deep flow guttering measures 120 mm across and features a deeper profile, allowing it to hold considerably more water and channel it efficiently into the downpipe. The 68 mm downpipe is proportioned to accommodate this increased flow.

All Aquaflow deep flow products we stock form part of a fully compatible system. Gutter sections, brackets, angles, stop ends, downpipes and associated fittings are designed to work together seamlessly.

Installing Deep Flow Guttering

A complete deep flow guttering installation will typically require:• Gutter sections - Available in 2.5 m or 4 m lengths
Fascia brackets - Providing essential support to the guttering
Union brackets - Used to join gutter sections along a run
90° and 135° angles - For corners and directional changes
Internal and external stop ends - To cap each run
Downpipe sections and clips -To carry water safely to ground level
Offset bends - To guide the downpipe around overhangs or soffits
Downpipe shoe -  To direct water into the drainage system at ground level

As with all our guttering products, deep flow guttering is manufactured from high quality uPVC. This durable, low maintenance material offers long lasting performance and is an ideal choice for reliable rainwater management.
