Where blue works

Blue gives a bathroom or cloakroom a definite character where white would sit flat, and it is one of the few strong colours that still reads as calm in a wet room. It suits a coastal or traditional scheme, and pairs well with white sanitaryware and chrome.

Depth of colour

Lighter Copenhagen blues keep a small room open. Deeper navy tones work better as a single feature wall with a plain board on the returns, since a whole room in a dark blue needs strong lighting to stay usable.

Sizes and trims

250mm, 400mm and 1000mm widths at 2.4m and 2.6m. White trims frame a blue wall cleanly; chrome is the quieter option if you want the edges to recede.
