Gutter Hoppers
A gutter hopper collects water from more than one downpipe or an overflow, taking the discharge where a run cannot be joined directly. Square and round outlets suit 110mm and 114mm pipe, in white and cast iron effect to match the rest of the roofline. Feeds into downpipes.

Frequently Asked Questions
68mm round is the standard partner for half round and deep flow guttering, and 66mm square goes with square and ogee profiles. Cast iron effect systems use a narrower 65mm square to keep the period proportions. The pipe has to match the outlet on the gutter, so settle the gutter profile first.
At the low end of the fall, above a gully or a suitable discharge point, and as close as practical to a downpipe route that can run straight down the wall. On a long elevation it is usually better to fall to an outlet at each end than to run the whole length to one, which needs more fall and a deeper drop.
Fix a clip within 150mm of every socket joint, then at roughly 1.8m to 2m centres down the run, with an extra clip either side of an offset bend. On a narrow passage or boundary wall, flush-fitting clips let the pipe sit tight against the brickwork.
Match the rest of the roofline rather than the wall. White suits white fascia and guttering on most housing, black disappears against a dark roofline or a cast iron effect scheme, and grey sits well with anthracite windows and modern render. Fittings and clips are stocked in the same finishes, so a run stays consistent.
