Ordering & Payment
Do I need an account to order?

No — you can checkout as a guest. Creating an account lets you track orders, save addresses, and reorder previous purchases easily. Trade-account holders see net trade pricing automatically when logged in.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Shop Pay. Trade-account customers can also pay on 30-day credit terms (subject to approval).

Are prices shown inclusive or exclusive of VAT?

You can toggle between inc-VAT and ex-VAT pricing using the switch at the top of every page. Trade customers typically prefer ex-VAT; retail customers prefer inc-VAT. The toggle saves your preference for future visits.

Is there a minimum order?

No minimum order online or at the trade counter. Free standard delivery applies on qualifying online orders over £150.

Can I get a quote before ordering?

Yes — for large or project-specific orders, email online@plasticcentre.co.uk with the items and quantities, or contact your nearest branch directly. Trade-account customers see their negotiated trade pricing at checkout without needing to request a quote.

Can I order over the phone?

Yes — call 0121 227 5093 for online orders, or call your nearest branch directly for branch-fulfilled orders.

Delivery
How much is delivery?

UK mainland standard delivery is £15, with free standard delivery on qualifying online orders over £150. Click & Collect from any branch is always free. We don’t currently deliver online orders to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Scottish island addresses.

How long does delivery take?

UK mainland delivery is usually 3–5 working days, subject to stock and route availability. Click & Collect is usually same day for in-stock items, or 24–72 hours for special orders and branch transfers.

Will the driver carry the items inside?

No — standard pallet deliveries are kerbside only. The driver will lower the pallet to the nearest accessible kerb. For yard or forecourt forklift delivery, contact us in advance for a quote.

What if my delivery is damaged?

Sign the delivery note as “damaged” or “unchecked”, photograph the damage, and email online@plasticcentre.co.uk within 3 days. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund within 1 working day. Full details on our delivery page.

Click & Collect
How does Click & Collect work?

Order online, choose your collection branch at checkout. We’ll email you when the order is ready — usually same day. Visit any time during opening hours (Mon–Fri 7:30am–5pm) to collect.

Can I collect from a different branch than the closest one?

Yes — choose any of our 21 UK branches at checkout. If the chosen branch doesn’t have stock, the item will be transferred from another branch (24–72 hours).

What ID do I need to collect?

The order confirmation email or order number is usually sufficient. For first-time collections or larger orders, we may ask for photo ID matching the order name as a fraud prevention check.

How long will you hold my Click & Collect order?

14 days from notification. After that, the order will be returned to stock and you’ll be issued a refund.

Returns
Can I return a product?

Yes — standard products in original packaging within 14 days for a full refund. Cut-to-length items, special-order items, and door / window made-to-measure items are non-returnable except where faulty. See full details on our returns policy page.

Who pays for return shipping?

If the return is due to our error (faulty, damaged or incorrect item), we cover return costs. For change-of-mind returns, the customer covers return shipping. Free return collection is available for trade-account customers.

How long do refunds take?

Refunds are processed within 1 working day of receiving the returned items. Funds typically appear in your account within 3–5 working days depending on your bank or card provider.

Trade Accounts
Can I open a trade account?

Yes — if you’re a VAT-registered trade business or sole trader. Apply via the trade account page or at any branch. Approval typically within 2 working days.

What does a trade account get me?

Discounted trade pricing on all products, 30-day credit terms (subject to approval), priority dispatch, dedicated account manager for larger accounts, and the ability to order online or at any branch with a single account. See full benefits.

Do I need a trade account to buy from you?

No — we’re open to retail customers as well. Trade pricing requires a trade account; retail customers pay our standard published prices.

Products
Do you stock everything in your catalogue at every branch?

Every branch carries our core range. Special-order or seldom-requested items can be transferred from another branch within 24–72 hours, free of charge.

Can I get items cut to length?

Yes — gutters, downpipes, fascias, soffits and most trims can be cut to length at any branch counter. Cut items are non-returnable except where faulty.

What brands do you stock?

For uPVC profile systems we supply REHAU and Liniar (windows, doors, guttering) and Hurst (uPVC panel doors). For aluminium we supply Smart Systems. For guttering and drainage we stock Aquaflow / Floplast / Brett Martin and other major UK trade brands.

Can you supply matching colours across windows, doors and guttering?

Yes — standard colours including White, Anthracite Grey, Rosewood, Irish Oak, Light Oak, Black and Chartwell Green are available across most product ranges. For exact colour matching across uPVC and aluminium, contact us with your project requirements and we’ll specify a coordinated set.

Where is my nearest branch?

We have 21 branches across England and Wales. Use the postcode finder on our branches page to locate the closest one.

What are branch opening hours?

Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm. Saturday hours vary by branch — contact your local branch to confirm. All branches closed on bank holidays.

Do branches have parking?

Yes — every branch has dedicated trade-counter parking and forklift loading for larger items. Most are located in industrial estates with good HGV access.
