Why grey rather than white

Light grey gives a room a finished look without committing to a dark wall, and it hides watermarks and limescale better than white. It also sits comfortably next to chrome, black and oak fittings, which is why it dates more slowly than a strong colour.

Plain or patterned

Plain light grey and silver read as a calm background. Grey marble and grey stone effects give the same tone with visible movement, which suits a larger wall where a flat colour would look bare. Mixing a patterned board on the shower wall with plain elsewhere is a common approach.

Sizes

250mm, 400mm and 1000mm widths at 2.4m and 2.6m, in 5mm and 8mm thicknesses. Chrome or white trims both work against grey.
