Gutter Fittings
Gutter fittings are the parts that turn a length of gutter into a working run: angles, unions, running outlets, stop ends and brackets. PVC gutter fittings cover 112mm to 200mm across half round, ogee, square and commercial profiles, so a repair matches what is already up, sitting on gutter brackets fixed through the fascia board.

Frequently Asked Questions
Match three things: the profile shape, the width across the top of the gutter, and the manufacturer's system. Two 112mm half round gutters from different makers can have seals that will not grip each other. If you are repairing rather than replacing, take an offcut or a clear photo of an existing union before ordering.
Not reliably. Profiles that look alike often differ by a few millimetres across the seal, so a union from one system may not grip, or may leak, on another. Match the profile and size already on the building. If a run is being replaced piecemeal, bring an offcut or a photo of the union before ordering.
Plastic moves with temperature — a long run can grow several millimetres between a frosty morning and a hot afternoon. Pushing every joint fully home leaves nowhere for that to go, so the run bows or pops a seal. Each union carries an insertion mark; stop at it rather than at the back of the socket.
At the low end of the fall, above a gully or a suitable discharge point, and as close as practical to a downpipe route that can run straight down the wall. On a long elevation it is usually better to fall to an outlet at each end than to run the whole length to one, which needs more fall and a deeper drop.
Fascia brackets are normally fixed at 800mm to 1000mm centres, closer where snow load is likely, with a bracket within 150mm of every union, angle and outlet. Set a fall of roughly 1:600 towards the outlet, about 3mm per metre, so water runs off rather than standing in the bottom of the gutter.
