Solvent Weld Soil Pipes

Solvent weld soil pipe is cemented at every joint, giving a rigid run with no push-fit seals to creep, which suits a boxed-in stack or a duct that will be sealed behind plasterboard. Soil pipe fittings cover 110mm at 3m plus 32mm to 50mm waste, joining the WC through a pan connector.

Choosing Solvent Weld Soil Pipes

A rigid, permanent joint

Solvent cement fuses the pipe and fitting into one piece, so there is no seal to perish or creep. That is what you want on a boxed-in stack, a run inside a duct, or anything disappearing behind plasterboard where a slow weep would not be found until it had done damage.

No second chances

Once cemented, a joint cannot be taken apart — a mistake means cutting the pipe out. Dry-fit the whole run first and mark the alignment on every socket before you open the tin. A rigid run also needs expansion couplings on a long vertical stack.

Sizes

110mm at 3m plus 32mm to 50mm waste, with the solvent cement to suit. The WC joins through a pan connector.
