What Fascia Capping Accessories Do I Need?
When fitting fascia capping boards, a number of accessories are required to complete the installation:
Capping board joints - These are used to join two lengths of fascia board end-to-end along a straight run. They create a neat join while allowing for the natural expansion and contraction of uPVC in changing temperatures.
External corner pieces - These are fitted at the corners of the property where two fascia boards meet at 90 degrees. They give a clean, finished appearance to external corners and prevent water ingress at the joint.
End caps - These are fitted to the open ends of fascia boards, to close off the board and give a tidy, finished appearance.
Fascia finials - These are decorative accessories fitted at the junction of two fascia boards, providing a neat finish at board junctions.
