What Size Guttering Do I Need?
For most standard UK houses, 112mm half round or square guttering is sufficient.
If your property has a large roof area, a steep pitch, or sits in a high-rainfall region, moving up to a 170mm gutter or a deepflow system will ensure proper drainage without overflow.
As a general guide: measure the width of your roof from ridge to eaves, then consider the roof pitch.
Downpipes and Fittings
Every guttering system needs correctly matched downpipes, angles, unions, stop ends, and brackets to perform properly. We stock a full range of compatible fittings for every profile we sell, so you can order everything in one place.
Guttering Profiles Explained
Half Round Guttering – Half Round Guttering is the most widely used profile in the UK. Available in 112mm and 170mm widths to suit different roof areas.
Square Gutters – Square Line Guttering has a flat base and sharper angles that suit modern architecture. It offers a slightly higher capacity than half round options.
Kommercial Gutters – Deepflow / Kommercial Guttering is a high-capacity system designed for larger roof areas, commercial properties, or locations that experience heavy rainfall.
Ogee Gutters– Ogee Guttering (both Klassic Ogee and Krown Ogee profiles) replicates the traditional S-shaped moulding found on period properties.
Cast Iron Effect Gutters Cast Iron Effect Guttering gives the appearance of traditional cast iron with none of the weight, rust, or maintenance.
