Aquawall White Gloss gives you the crisp, bright finish of a freshly tiled wall without the grout, the mess or the days of downtime. Each tile has a solid Stone Polymer Composite (SPC) core with a clean white gloss face, and locks to its neighbours on all four sides with a tongue and groove edge, so there are no grout lines to discolour or scrub.
At just 5mm thick, Aquawall bonds straight over existing tiles, plaster or plasterboard with MS polymer adhesive. There is no cement board, no tile cutter and no skip, and a typical shower wall can be re-clad in an afternoon and used the same day. Choose from three tile sizes to suit the look you want, from a classic brick-style format to extra-large tiles with fewer joints.

How Many Packs Do I Need?
Multiply the height by the width of each wall to get the area in m², add around 10% for cuts, then divide by the coverage of the pack size you have chosen and round up.
Example: a shower wall 2.0m wide x 2.4m high is 4.8m². Adding 10% gives 5.28m², so you would need 3 packs of the 610 x 305mm or 940 x 465mm size, or 2 packs of the 760 x 465mm size.

How to Fit
1. Acclimatise. Stack the tiles flat in the room for 48 hours at 18 to 24°C.
2. Prepare the wall. The wall must be clean, dry, sound and flat to within 3mm under a 1m straight edge.
3. Bond. Apply a bead of MS polymer adhesive to the back of each tile, around the perimeter and across the centre.
4. Click and tap. Start bottom right. Slide the tongue into the groove at a slight angle, push flat and tap home with a plastic hammer. Keep a 6 to 10mm expansion gap to walls, ceilings and trays.
5. Finish. Silicone internal corners and the tray or bath junction with moisture-resistant silicone, and finish external corners with a PVC or aluminium profile.
Heavy fittings such as towel rails and shower risers should be fixed through the tile into the wall behind, then sealed with silicone. Full instructions are supplied in every pack.
Care
Wipe clean with a damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid bleach, wax, varnish, scouring pads and wire wool, as these can damage the protective coating.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I fit Aquawall over my existing tiles?
Yes, as long as the existing tiles are sound, flat and clean. At 5mm thick and bonded with MS polymer adhesive, most installations need no stripping out.
Is it suitable for a shower enclosure?
Yes. The SPC core and tongue and groove joints are 100% waterproof. Seal the corners and the join to the shower tray with moisture-resistant silicone. Aquawall is a wall tile and should not be used as a shower floor.
Can I fit it to battens or a timber frame?
No. Aquawall needs a continuous, flat surface to bond to. Board the frame with plasterboard or moisture-resistant ply first, then fit the tiles onto that.
How do I cut the tiles?
Score along a straight edge with a sharp Stanley knife and snap. For cuts around pipes and window reveals, use a fine-tooth saw or jigsaw.
