Product Description

Natural Stone Anthracite Wall Panels 1000mm x 2.4m x 10mm

Natural Stone Anthracite wall panels give you the texture and tone of natural stone, without the cost, mess or upkeep of real stone. Made from 100% waterproof uPVC, they are ideal for bathrooms, en-suites, shower enclosures, kitchens and feature walls, and there is no grout to discolour, crack or scrub.

Each 10mm panel measures 1000mm wide by 2.4m long and covers 2.4m² in a single piece, so a typical shower wall needs just two or three panels. Tongue and groove edges lock each panel tightly into the next for a near-seamless, watertight joint, and the panels bond straight over existing tiles, plaster or plasterboard with panel adhesive.

Key Features & Benefits

✓ 100% waterproof uPVC, will not rot, swell or grow mould in showers and steam

✓ Tongue and groove edges lock panels together for a tight, near-seamless joint with no grout lines

✓ Realistic stone effect finish for a high-end look without the cost of real stone

✓ Large 1000mm x 2.4m format covers 2.4m² per panel with fewer joints

✓ Wipe-clean surface, no sealing, painting or regrouting

✓ 10-year guarantee

Installer Benefits

✓ Tongue and groove joints slot together quickly and keep every panel straight and in line

✓ Cut to size with a fine-tooth saw, no tile cutter or wet saw needed

✓ Fit over sound existing tiles on most refurbs, so no stripping out

✓ No grouting or tiling skills needed, most bathrooms can be panelled in a day

✓ Matching trims, panel adhesive and sealant available to complete the job

How Many Panels Do I Need?

Measure the width of each wall in metres and round up to the nearest whole metre. That is the number of panels you need for walls up to 2.4m high. Add one spare panel if the room has lots of cuts around windows or boxing in.

Example: a shower enclosure with a 1.2m back wall and a 0.9m side wall needs 2 panels for the back wall and 1 for the side wall, so 3 panels in total.

Where to Use

✓ Bathrooms, en-suites and cloakrooms

✓ Shower enclosures and wet areas (with a proper shower tray)

✓ Kitchen splashbacks and utility rooms

✓ Feature walls in living rooms, bedrooms and hallways

✓ Rentals, hotels, gyms and commercial washrooms

For indoor use only.

Installation

1. Acclimatise. Store the panels flat in the room for 24 hours before fitting.

2. Prepare the wall. The wall must be clean, dry, sound and flat. Panels can go straight over existing tiles, plaster or plasterboard. On uneven or damaged walls, fix timber or PVC battens at no more than 400mm centres first.

3. Fit the trims. Fix the starter, corner and end trims in place first, then cut each panel to length with a fine-tooth saw, keeping the good face up.

4. Bond and slot together. Apply panel adhesive in vertical beads to the back of the panel and fit the first panel into the corner trim. Slide the tongue of the next panel fully into the groove of the one before and press it firmly to the wall. In showers and wet areas, run a thin bead of silicone along the tongue before joining for a fully watertight seal. When fixing to battens, screw or staple through the tongue so the next panel hides the fixing. Leave a 3 to 5mm expansion gap at the top and bottom.

5. Finish. Seal the bath or shower tray junction and internal corners with sanitary silicone.

Heavy fittings such as towel rails and shower risers should be fixed through the panel into the wall behind, then sealed with silicone.

Care

Wipe clean with warm soapy water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid solvent-based cleaners, scouring pads and wire wool, as these can dull or scratch the surface.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I fit these panels over my existing tiles?
Yes, as long as the existing tiles are sound, flat and clean. Bond the panels on with panel adhesive, so most refurbs need no stripping out.

Are the joints waterproof?
Yes. The tongue and groove joint locks each panel tightly to the next with no grout lines. In showers and wet areas, a thin bead of silicone along the tongue before joining makes every joint fully watertight.

Can I use them inside a shower enclosure?
Yes. The uPVC panels are 100% waterproof. Seal the corners and the join to the shower tray or bath with sanitary silicone. They are for walls only and should not be used on floors.

How do I cut the panels?
Use a fine-tooth saw, cutting with the decorative face up. For cut-outs around pipes and sockets, drill a pilot hole and finish with a jigsaw.

What guarantee do they come with?
Our wall panels carry a 10-year guarantee.
