8mm Wall Panels

The general-purpose board

8mm is the middle of the range and the one to reach for when you are not sure. It is stiff enough to bridge the small hollows a 5mm board would follow, without the weight and the lost room depth of a 10mm. Most bathroom and kitchen jobs sit here.

Adhesive or battens

8mm goes on adhesive directly to a reasonable wall, or onto battens at roughly 400mm centres where the wall is poor. It holds a line between battens better than a thin sheet, so the batten spacing is less critical than with 5mm.

Sizes

250mm and 400mm widths at 2.6m, in marble, stone, grey, oak and tile effect. Order 8mm trims to match — corner and H-section profiles are cut to the board thickness.
